I live in Asheville, NC and the extreme conservative stance many of the people in other cities in NC hold onto are truly frightening. Most claim to be Christian but there is nothing in the way they view others that even resembles Christ. I try not to generalize as I know the Democratic party is not without fault, but holy cow, the GOP has truly embraced a tin foil hat wearing base of supporters.
