UPS already knows about efficiency as they spend a lot of time and money figuring out the most efficient way to pick up, warehouse, transport, and deliver packages as well as the most efficient route for the drivers to take. Did you know that UPS Drivers almost never make left turns? And the optimization doesn’t stop there. They also want you to be efficient and would prefer you to use your mouse left handed. No kidding, they really do. If you’re a righty it’s okay to be freaking out as I definitely freaked out at the thought of moving my mouse to the left side of my keyboard but I did and so can you. So what’s the UPS logic? Ever notice when you get a UPS tracking number that starts with 1z and then there are numbers and occasionally alphabets? The letters are always alphabets that you use your left hand with as they know your right hand is and should be hovering over your 10 key numeric key pad. If you’re using the numbers across the top of your keyboard or do not have a 10 key numeric key pad on the right of your keyboard, well, quite frankly you should.
